Amy Serafin has worked around the world for more the twenty years covering a range of subjects, including culture and the arts for the New York Times and National Public Radio, design for Wallpaper and Surface, food and fashion for the Associated Press, travel for France magazine, and restaurants for the Zagat Survey. For seven years she was editor in chief of Where Paris magazine, a monthly magazine distributed in luxury hotels. She is one of the few independent journalists to write about humanitarian issues for the International Committee of the Red Cross. Her work for the ICRC and others has led her to destinations such as Haiti, Nepal, Georgia, Ethiopia, Turkey and Burma.
