Phyllis Hooten has been the lead or co-author of over 20 articles with the majority in professional healthcare journals. She also has been published in Mysterious Ways, and since October 2021 has been a monthly contributor to a regional newspaper, The Good News.  Her most recent article, "Reorienting after a Layoff" is featured in the November 2022 issue of Nursing 2022.
