Bill Gruber is the author of multiple academic books and two works of nonfiction, the memoir On All Sides Nowhere and Baseball in a Grain of Sand, a finalist for the Casey Award for the best baseball book of 2018. Currently, he’s writing a nonfiction popular science book Spin: How the World (and Almost Everything in It) Turns. He lives in Moscow, Idaho and teaches an online course called “Baseball and American Culture” for Emory University.
